Emmanuel Cooper

Emmanuel Cooper is a junior at Truman State University pursuing a degree in Environmental Science on the pre-med track. He is a Pershing scholar, representing a full-ride merit scholarship at Truman State. He first heard of the MSDT-One Health program through a mutual contact with Yale PATHS, another mentorship opportunity. Planning to add on minors in Medical Spanish and Biology, Emmanuel hopes that MSDT-One Health will contribute to his dream of refining chemical use in the agricultural systems of rural communities. A lifelong learner, Emmanuel ultimately plans to obtain an MD/Ph.D. centered around reproductive biology and its relation with toxicology.
