Courtney Lyles

Courtney Lyles, PhD, is the Director of the UC Davis Center for Healthcare Research and Policy (CHPR) and a PI of the UC Davis Clinical and Translational Science Center (CTSC). A trained health services and mixed methods researcher, Dr. Lyles has expertise in health equity, digital health/informatics, and implementation science. Her research portfolio designs and evaluates new programs and platforms to support patients and families as well as clinical workflows, with emphases on participant- and community-engaged methods and chronic disease prevention and treatment.  Dr. Lyles also holds concurrent affiliate appointments at UCSF in the Division of General Internal Medicine at San Francisco General Hospital and the Kaiser Northern California Division of Research, where she has collaborated on research studies since 2008.  She has published over 200 publications to date and is an active mentor for undergraduate and graduate students, residents/fellows and post-doctoral scholars, and early-stage faculty.
