Reena Grewal

Reena Grewal is a junior at the University of California, Davis, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and a minor in Global Disease Biology. She currently works as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the One Health Institute Laboratory, performing research under Dr. Peyton and Dr. Drazenovich with pigs as burn models, as well as Dr. Radisic and Dr. Bird on Sin Nombre virus. With a strong background in One Health, Reena hopes to learn more about toxicology and the impacts of environmental toxins on animal health at the cellular level through the MSDT-One Health program. She hopes to incorporate this, along with crucial networking and professional experiences, to her future educational goals of a Master's/PhD and DVM.
